Oru Tharattu Pattu: Malayalam Lullaby

My friend who inspired me to write blogs is blessed with a baby girl. Its her request prompted me to try such an attempt. And ofcourse this is dedicated to the cute little baby and the happy couple. I pray to give her all health and well being and bring a lot of smiling moments to her proud parents.

I feel the poem came out well in wording and ofcourse sound... Listen to it at your own risk.

Kanne kannin maniye,
Muthe muthazhake,
Minna minni kurunne,
Nee kannum pootti urangu.

Kunji pattukal padam nyan,
Kunji kathakal paranju tharam,
Ambili mamane konduru ravil nyan,
Akashamake chutti kattam
Kanne kannin maniye,
Nee Kannum pootti urangu.

Inku tharam amma kunju vayil,
Melle kavilathoru umma tharam,
Tharattu padi nyan thottilattam,
Thamara poometha thunni tharam,
Kanne kannin maniye,
Nee Kannum pootti urangu.

Kavathi kakkathan kallatharam,
Pinne neela kurukkante kaushalavum,
Cholli tharam ente omanayakku,
Innu nee melle urangu urangu
