Poovine kandora poompattaye ninte,
Poomukham enthe thuduthu?
Adharangal enthe virachu,
Arikalay enthe nee chennu.

Nin chirakinte marmaram kettaval,
Kanchimmi melle virinju vanno?
Ninte thalodalil avalude mizhikal,
Thaen kondengo niranja pole.

Dalangal melle nee azhichedutho,
Aval than marile thaen kudicho,
Viralale melle a madhura sangeethathin,
Oru pallavi nee meettiyo?

Vadhanam kondora poo meniyil nee,
Veruthe veruthe thalodiyenno,
Karathala sparshathin oru mookha velathan,
Oduvilay oduvilay ningal alinju chernno?
